In this pseudo-sequel to the original BIONIC COMMANDO, you’ll play as either the male or female Bionic Commando as you attempt to rescue your comrade Commando Joe from the clutches of the evil overlord Arturus. You must progress through over 20 levels of side-scrolling action with your guns blazing. It’s more than just a mindless shooter, however, as you’ll have to use the ultimate tool, your bionic arm, if you want to get anywhere. Using it, you’ll grab, swing, and climb your way through the lushly colored backdrops. Each character’s quest differs slightly, which helps add replay value to this fun title. You’ll have to collect a wide variety of items and weapons to complete your mission, including a rocket launcher, assault rifle, flares, and more. Play overhead-shooting and first-person sniping bonus rounds to collect extra items.
A classic - Matthew Smith - Pelham, GA
Bionic Commando is one of the greatest NES games. This port to the GB is an excellent port. The graphics and sound are good. The gameplay is unique because you do not jump. Instead, you use your arm to grapple and move across a place. There are enemies that move about on the map. Overall, this game is pretty hard. However, that is a small flaw to this great game.

Pretty good game - - Kirkland, WA United States
The first game I played of NBA Jam 2001 I was bored to death. Then I got a novel idea and opened the manuel to see if I could make the game more exciting. There I discovered some extra options and once I started adding some of the extras it became a good way to pass the time. The power up items that you can pick up off the court are the best part of the game- going for a shot that is worth 9 points is a lot more exciting than a two pointer. I did find the controls a little difficult to get used to, however after a couple of games I was destroying the computer. The most frustrating feature of the game is that you have to keep track of passwords to continue your season (I haven’t had to do that since I bought my original Nintendo back in 1987). If you are looking for a realistic NBA game that simulates real life play this is not the game you want- but if you want an arcade version of wild hoop then it’s a good start.

It’s about time they made a game with TJ Lavin in it! The dirt part is my favorite!
